Let the sunshine in. In Sonnen Spa – the wellness and relaxation realm in the Sonnen Resort – those who want to relax and unwind will find just the right ambience to re-energise. Cosy Asian style relaxation areas, 5 saunas (adults only) and an extensive range of massages and treatments tempt you to relax and recharge.
In the Aquagarden at the Family and Wellness hotel, the Sonnen Resort along with the 10 pools in our ‘pool hotel’ in South Tyrol there are a further 5 saunas in the pool house, show infusions, a family sauna and 9 relaxation areas (some of which are ‘adults only’).
Saunas in the Sonnen Spa
Exclusive to Sonnen Resort guests. Adults can enjoy a sauna session in Sonnen Spa (‘adults only’):
- Infra-red salt stone sauna 65 – 70 °C
The energetic effect of Himalayan salt stone promotes a positive attitude to life, helps calm inner conflicts and is beneficial for your respiratory tract and skin. - Salt water steam bath 42 – 45 °C
Finely dissolved sea salt crystals are atomised. Adding essential extracts of eucalyptus and mint purifies and nourishes your respiratory tract. A session in the salt water steam bath is like being by the sea and is beneficial for your lungs. - Serail bath (Rasul) available to book a an extra
- Herbal bath 55 °C
The herbal bath inspires with its gently radiating heat. At 55 °C a fresh herbal infusion increases the humidity level and a lovely scent, just like being out in nature, fills the air. - Tyrol sauna 90 °C
The aroma of and the ambience created by natural, local wood pampers body and mind. The stone oven radiates cosy warmth, providing wonderful sauna comfort. - Infra-red sauna

Enjoy the daily show and themed infusions with our qualified sauna experts. Every show is a highlight in itself – from the cabaret-style show to the Egyptian ‘Cleopatra’ infusion to the ‘Sonnen Resort 70s revival’. Fragrant essential oils, special infusion and wedel techniques and matching sounds makes the infusions event unique. Be inspired by ‘Black & White’, ‘Dark Night’, ‘Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Latino’ and many more.
Daily infusions and peelings with natural products
Different types of infusions are offered daily. Between 3-4 times a day, the trained infusion masters enchant guests with cleansing peelings in the light-flooded steam bath, with scent journeys and relaxation rituals in the new HarmonyRelax, the meditation sauna, or classic, themed or show infusions in the new event sauna "VistaVitalExperience" . Pure natural products and essential oils are used in all of our rituals and offers; health is a top priority at the Sonnen Resort.
